Students Had Oral Sex in Class While Teacher Did Nothing?
A California teacher is on paid leave after allegations surfaced that two junior high school students had oral sex during class while their classmates recorded the incident on their cell phone cameras.
The incident allegedly occurred at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, CA. School officials said it took place several months ago but came to light during an unrelated investigation.
“The allegation is that two students were engaged in a sexual act for a brief period of time at the school,” said assistant principal Sean Goldman in an interview with KABC. “I’m not saying that that was actually what happened or not, but we’re investigating that at this moment.”
Parents like Silva Ramirez are livid. She told KABC she saw video and it shows “the two people doing sex.”
“I want those kids to be expelled out of the school because they shouldn’t have oral sex in front of classmates,” she told KABC.
School officials declined to say if the students had been punished. However, the teacher was placed on paid administrative leave.
Ramirez told KTLA she believed the teacher knew what was happening and did not intervene. She wants the teacher fired.
